    active.Cell compile error

    [SOLVED]

    This code results in "compile error: expected function or variable"

    I think something changed because another macro that worked an hour ago now returns the same error

    Hello forestPeterson,

    Welcome to the Forum!

    You have named your macro ActiveCell. Excel recognizes the word ActiveCell as a worksheet property. Your macro overrides the property definition and you can not access the active cell of the worksheet. You need to change the macro name to something else.
