Excel Autofill/Timeline/Gantt Chart

Hi,
I am very new to VBA and I'm trying to create macro which helps emulate a Gantt Chart/Timeline. Information such as the Resource, Task, Start and End dates are entered into excel and upon running the macro, it will shade in a set range to visually show which resources are working on which tasks at any one time.

I have attached a simple example of what I beleive the end product would look like.
