Excel 2007: Copy dynamic table from one sheet to another

Hello, I am really having problems finding a solution to the following. In my workbook I have two sheets "sheet1" and "sheet2". "Sheet1" contains a table of dynamic length, i.e. rows can be added. I want to copy some columns of that table into "Sheet2".

    Sheet1

    A | B | C | D | E |
    line 1
    line 2
    ....
    line n

I want to copy the first three columns of sheet1 into sheet2, including all lines of the table
    Sheet2
    A | B | C |
    line 1
    line 2
    ....
    line n

Is it possible to write a macro for that, which updates as soon as a cell is updated in sheet1, or just by placing a button on sheet1?

    Thanks, Lily.

Is 1 year too old to bring a thread back up? I have an extremely similar question as above.
I know I can use Pivot Tables, but they have a lot of formatting issues that I'm not fond of in addition to them not seeming able to simply copy a table over.
Nothing is absolute - a paradox in itself.

    Yes Phoenix.

What if my question is exactly the same as a question that has gone unanswered? It seemed quite relevant to utilize a thread that's already been created rather than start a new one that may well go unanswered in itself (leaving two unanswered questions of the same caliber in a search query).

The earlier question is a year old. One of us mods can close of this thread, while you open a new one.

A new question will yield faster replies.
