Need formula to calculate result as in ColD
ColA ColB ColC ColD
total activeno removedno Result
5 5 0 0%
1 1 0 0%
3 0 3 100%
4 1 3 25%
16 0 16 100%
3 3 0 0%
10 8 2 20%
25 2 23
and so forth..

Try this:
=B1/A1 (in other words activeno/total)
(and format cell as percentage)
Or use =C1/A1... depending what you trying to calculate...
But you will need to decide:
5 5 0 0%
or
4 1 3 25%
You can't get both because, with second formula, if you get 0% in first place you will get 75% in second place (not 25%)

Thank You for the pointer .. modified the formula to C1/A1 as that was the result i was looking for.
