    Revenue Recognition Scenarios

I am trying to create a workbook in Excel 2007 that shows two different revenue recognition scenarios (i.e. if we booked revenue one way, or another). I am not sure how to go about setting up this worksheet in Excel. Would the What-If Analysis tool be useful here? If so, how do I go about setting this up to capture the information?

    Re: Revenue Recognition Scenarios

    Hi,

It's probably sufficient to have two separate sheets to show the results for each of the two scenarios. However to help further we really need to understand your data and the two sets of scenario rules that you wish to apply.

Put together an example workbook showing your data and the results you expect to see for each scenario and some notes which explain how you have arrived at the results.
