Smile Creating an Alarm with a Countdown Timer

    hi

i would like to create a countdown timer.

using current system time i would like to enter a value via inputbox which will then display the time left untill the time that was set by the user.

if im not making any sense let me know and i will try and rephrase it.

Re: Creating an Alarm with a Countdown Timer

to help viusalise it a bit more, which i should have mentioned in my original post that i want to display the timer using a txtbox

    eg.

so for example i entered 17:00:00 in the inputbox, and the time currently is 15:30 the timer would countdown from 1:30:00

i did some searching and found out how the text in a shape can be changed in VBA but its coming up with a 'run time error: 13 - type mismatch'

debugging it it shows that the format for Time is the same as setTime but the timeLeft doesnt except a value because it cant take one time away from another
