Hello all! I need a formula that looks in Column A for a match to the contents of cell A1. There will be multiple matches in the column. For each match found I would like excel to sum the contents of each respective cell in column B. Example posted.

Give this a try:
=SUMPRODUCT(--($A$1:$A$6=A1),$B$1:$B$6)

Alternate version:
=SUMIF($A$1:$A$6,A1,$B$1:$B$6)
