vba program - before and after times

i have this algorithm that i would like to change into vba, but i am very new to vba.

i will like to find party participants for certain times.
    it goes like this:

i would like to find users
-who had two parties in a day, or
-had 3 parties in a day. or
-had two parties in a day and had one more party before and after their 2 parties in the day.

the party time goes like this:
    8am, 12noon, 6pm. - 3 parties
8am 12noon or 12noon 6pm - 2 parties. and the before or after their parties.

i have basic excel forumulas to compute, but not sure how to put that into vba.
    any ideas please.

    Hello quaye28,

To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook, the workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.

If needed supply a before and after sheet in the workbook so the person helping you can see what you are trying to achieve.

Doing this will ensure you get the result you need!
    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross

Below is a plain text version of sample dataset:

so in this case the output should be:
    Mary
    Adam
