    Changing access query criteria from Excel

    Hi guys

    We can using the criteria in a query using the following code and it works fine. But what if I have excel as a frontend and Access as a backend then how can I change the criteria in Access query from Excel using vba.

    something like, you may need a different connection string based on your versions and you'll need to set a reference to Microsoft ActiveX Data Objects

    Thanks for your reply. I know we can do this but Is there any way that I can change criteria in Access query using Excel VBA.

    1. I want this because I have to print mail merge documents afterwards and MS word document is connected to Access Query. SO if I can change the Access query through Excel vba then the mail merge document will automatically reflect the changes in the query.So we can print the mail merge document agterwards.

    2. If this is not the right way to do it then could you please tell me the code you sent me over copy the data from Access to Excelsheet then is there any way that we can merge all those records in word document and print them off.
