    Auto fill

    Hi all,

    Is it possible to make some VBA procedure to make the autofill procedure a little easier.
    As you can see in the demo I have some names in column D.
    In column C i want the numbers 1, 2 etc

    Now I do this by entering the 1 and 2 and than dubbelclick on the square if you select both cells.
    This means that I have to remove my hand from the keyboard to use the mouse, and that lots of times

    Is there some procedure that captures this so that

    When you are recording the macro, in the record macro popup - you will have a box alloted to input the key you want to use to run the macro.

    I know that, my problem is the variable cell range
    I would like to be able to do this trick on every place in my worksheet

    Do you mean, that whatever range the user selects should be autofilled by the macro?
