Check subfolders for excel workbooks with a certain source file

Hello,

I am trying to develop a VBA macro that will check all files within a folder hierarchy and update old source file links with the new location (basically change the old hyperlink with a new one). I currently have a code that will look in one folder for excel files, but I want the macro to check subfolders too. Is this possible?

I heard about the dir formula versus recursivedir. I'm not sure if this helps.

Here is one piece of my code that lists all the dependent workbooks of a certain file. I have highlighted the section where I think the problem may be occuring.
