Create chronological table from daily updates

I have a spreadsheet that collects data from the web by automatic refresh when the file is opened. The data all ends up in a column of calculated numbers. I would like a macro to run when the file is closed. The macro would copy the column of numbers and paste them as a new column in a table. I have included a screen shot to help explain.

I am lost, what do you want to do? The screen shot does not help much, do you have a sample workbook you could post?

Re: Create chronological table from daily updates

You're right I didn't explain it well and my example sucks.
Every day I open this spreadsheet. It is set up to do a web query when I open it. The web query updates the data in column C. What I want is for the data in column C to be copied to a new column in the table below it such that each day gets captured as a new column in the table.
The way I see it is the macro would select C2:C7, copy it, select the next empty column in the table, and paste it. That way I will have captured the data as it renews each day. I can then create graphs or whatever to track the changes over time.
I am not worried if it copies the same data more than once in a day. That would happen if I opened the spreadsheet and closed it again on the same day.
I hope that I've made it clear enough now. If not please allow me to explain further. Thanks
