    Highlighting single Text in excel sheet by macro

    Hi, I would like to highlight particular TEXT in the cell to be in BOLD and in Color.

    Please let me know , how can i get this by Macro.

    Thanks for the warm welcome !!!

    The code provided by you is not working. Probably i would like to explain more on my requirements, so that you will have an idea on it.

    My requirement is, I have two specific words "Now :" and "Was :" in the sheet, which explains about the two versions changes.I want to highlight those two words in the excel sheet which will be clearly visible. I would like to share the code which i used for comparion of 2 version of sheets.

    How to mark a thread Solved
    Go to the first post
    Click edit
    Click Go Advanced
    Just below the word Title you will see a dropdown with the word No prefix.
    Change to Solved
    Click Save

    Thanks Pike. The real credit goes to everyone here at the forum who helped me put this together. Off the top of my head, shg, romperstomper and mikerickerson were vital in different parts of the code... Hats off to them.
