    Macro is crashing Excel 2010

I have a macro that is setup like this (see below). When running the macro, it causes excel 2010 to crash. I have commented each line out and it is the ActiveWorkbook.close line that is causing the problem. Currently I just have to manually close the workbook. Why would Excel 2010 not like this line of code?

Hi, and welcome to the forum.

Is the code in that workbook? Does this fare any better:

It may not have anything to do with your problem, but I kept having a workbook crash on me and I realized that I had two macros with same name.

Yes, the code is contained within the workbook.

How are you calling the code and did you try my version (if so, did it have the same issue)?
