I'm not sure if this has been asked/answered before.
I have a spreadsheet which has a whole bunch of data I need to color code.
I have attached a sample.
Basically, what i need to do is for the sysem to assign color codes to each data based on the numeric reason code i assign to them.
I would also like to have a set color and reason code assigned to the data when I first paste them in, i.e. Green (code 1)
If anyone can assist me with this I would greatly appreciate it.
Hi,
Your best bet is conditional formatting (Home -->Conditional Formatting). Highlight the columns with the reasons and set the number. You can set several rules for the same columns (each with a special color).
