    Unhappy macro to create hyperlinks?

Hey everyone, I have something I want to do in excel which I’m finding quite difficult but an experienced user may be able to explain to me in 2 minutes!

I have one sheet which contains multiple columns containing different types of data - i will refer to this as the master sheet. I then have two more sheets which each take different mixes of this information e.g. one called “Insulation Monitoring” and another called “Cable condition”. This is done simply with the ='Master Sheet'!+ the cell reference.

If the user is looking at information in “cable condition” and wants to update one of the fields I want them to be automatically re-directed to the linked cell in the master sheet to make the changes. The purpose of this is so that all changes are reflected in the “insulation monitoring” sheet as well. Does anyone have any suggestions of how I could achieve this?

I know I could just lock users out from making changes on the “Insulation Monitoring” and “Cable condition” sheets but I want excel to automatically refer them to the correct cell in the master sheet to save time navigating between the different sheets as there are likely to be well over a thousand rows.

I have had limited success using hyperlinks – main issue here is I don’t know anyway of doing this other than going through each cell one by one and creating the link.

Any suggestions please let me know.

    Ps.I am running Excel 2003

    Kind regards
