    Consolidate weekly Employee Hours

    Hello:

I am trying to make sure that i am calculating hours for my
employees properly as state regulation states that overtime is any
hours worked over 40 hours per week. Week Starts from Mon and ends on Sunday.
I am paying my employees Semi-Monthly and hence i need this tool to help me make sure
that i am calculating hours correctly.

Please refer to excel sheet attached.

I will have full year of data as shown in Sheet1.

    Column B shows Date
    Column C shows Employee Name
Column F shows Total Hours worked

I need a VB Macro which will

Put employee name in row 2 (Sheet2) starting from D2
Employee corresponding hour will be calculated and inserted in appropiate week in Sheet2.
If any week >40 hours then highlight the cell with yellow color.

Your expert help is always appreciated.

Please let me know if any questions.

Thanks in advance for your help

    Hi RM,

If you do a Pivot Table and group the dates by 7 days and have a MONDAY as the miminum date the total work hours will show. See if the attached makes sense or helps with your problem.
