    hidden modules

    Dear friends,

    I've got an excel file with hidden modules.
    How could i unhide them . i would lik to see the codes,
    thanks in advance.

    Hello & Welcome to the Board,

    I do not see any modules in this file. Select Atl + F11 to go into the VBE. Look on the left side of the screen under VBAProject(Onlie Excel.xlsx), there are no modules and no code in either ThisWorkbook or the sheet modules.

    hi jeff,
    this file connects to net and get stock data and analyse them and gives offers to buy or sell
    i thought that maybe has vba codes.
    how is it possible to get data from net? is it possible any other way?

    There can not be any VBA code in a workbook that has the file extension *.xlsx.

    To import data from the Web, open the Data Tab then click from Web
    Hope that helps.

    Hi,
    There are many ways to download data from web into excel.
    You can try Finance.yahoo.com, it is the most common web site.
    I think they do explain on their web site how to do it, but if you do not find it, I will look into it for you.
