    Non-numeric values in a Regression

I am trying to run a regression using the data analysis add-in. In the two columns (the x and the y), all values are numeric and I have verified this by formatting the cells and selecting "number".

When I run the regression however, I get a pop-up that says "Regression - Input range contains non-numeric data".

What's interesting is that if I type over some of the data (say in 10 rows or so) the regression will run. I cannot do this for the entire dataset though as there are over 6000 rows.

I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks for the help!

If you remove any alignment you have added, text values will be left-justified and numbers right.

After you do that, select the column and do Data > Text to columns, Finish.
