    Multiple Criteria Lookup in Table

    Good morning

I have a complex lookup function that I need to try and solve. Please see example attached.

Criteria for the search are in cells B7, B8 and B9 to determine which "event" I am searching on.
B10:B41 Contain the final placing in the Event.

I need to be able to return a result which fits each of the criteria in the table at the bottom of the page (Cells B48 to E79).

So to summarize, lookup the event level in row 7, minimum number of teams in row 8, minimum number of A's in Row 9 all to determine which column I am looking for. The return the corresponding result from that column for whatever result I achieved in the event (placing 1 to 32).

I am aware that I may have to break this into a few different table to allow me to do it, however dont know then how to write the formula to determine which table i look at.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Re: Multiple Criteria Lookup in Table

    Hi Venkat1926,

    Results examples are as follows:

AAA event, 17 teams are entered and there is 75 A's in the draw. A 4th place would give you a AA result. If there was 77 A's in the draw a 4th place would give you a AAA result (going off the different values in cell K9 and L9 in the lookup)

    Example 2:
AAA event, only 10 teams are entered and there is 45 A's in the draw. A 10th place will mean no ranking result (blank).
AAA event, 18 teams are entered and 76 A's in the draw (meets criteria in both K8 and K9), then the same 10th place would give you a AA result.

    Hope this helps
