Cross Match Date & Name then import data for matched row.

    Hey,

I have a macro already in place but I can't get it to work for some reason.

I need the macro to match the Date using Column BW in Main to Column D in Data then also match the name using Column F in Data and Column A in Main but it must ignore all the parenthesis extensions for example: (Ex)

Once it has a match it needs to import the data in Column G, H, L and N from Data to spesific columns in the Main sheet for the spesific matched row.

See Attachment for the example data

Anyone know why it isn't working or if there is a better way to do this?

What do you mean by to specific columns in the Main sheet? Which are these columns in the Main sheet?

    Column B (Main) = Column H (Data)
    Column C (Main) = Column G (Data)
Column BX (Main) = Column M (Data)
Column BY (Main) = Column N (Data)

Attached an example with color coded cells to try and make it easier to understand.

    Hyflex,

Give this a try, it should be about 3x faster than the original macro

    Thanks TigerAvatar,

The macro you've provided gets really slow in my big spreadsheets,

I posted a slightly different problem over at: http://www.excelforum.com/excel-prog...=1#post2687436 which is using the same macro but I think I've explained it a little better.
