    count product based on date

    Hi,

I have a delivery data which i didn't know what are the products (hundreds of them) and which date (in a month) are available in the file. The number of time the product name appear in a day represent number of lots of this product being processed in that day.

I would like to find out the total number of lots being processed in which date, and the break down of products with its number of lots. The simplified version is per attached file.

Instead of manual select the data for filtering and record them, is there any way to auto generate such report?

Pivot Table is the one option. You can use dynamic named range in Pivot Table.
