    Copy and Past

    Hi

    I have a list (attached) of data, The postcode and spend, The probelm is that onces the postcode appears onces it doesnt appear on the line below, I was just wondering if you could copy the postcode down to were the next postcode starts,

    - Select A6:A243
    - Press F5, click Special..., select Blanks and click OK
    - Type =A6 and confirm with Ctrl+Enter
    - Select A6:A243 again and Copy...Paste Special...Values

    Your data is not very consistent - you have some asterisks and some phone numbers in that column.

    Anyway, highlight the cells from A4 to A243, then press F5 (GoTo) and click on Special then on Blanks. Then begin to enter a formula by typing =, then click on the cell immediately above the active cell (i.e. on A6 in your example) and then CTRL-Enter together. This will automatically copy that formula down into the blank cells.
