error1004 cannot shift nonblank cells off worksheet

    Hello,
I have recorded a macro and it started to run ok. Now recently I receive a message that says runtime error 1004 cannot shift nonblank cells off worksheet. When I check the debug area it highlights select insert shift to right. Now each time I am to run the macro it will have different amounts (rows) of data. When this error says to use control and end the rows it arrives at is a long way past the current data. I think this maybe would be referring back to the previous data entry which was a lot bigger than the current data set. I would appreciate nay help to solve this problem please.

    Hi Plato,

As an option, just check if you have data reached till right / bottom of the sheet. Thanks.

This is often due to objects existing on the worksheet that cannot be shifted any further to the right.
