    VB Script - Adding trusted location

    Hi Experts;

    I have an idea but actually don't know is it possible?

    I need a viusal basic script code . When the user click the visual basic script file, a file directory will be added to the Excel's trusted location list.
    For example, "c:/examples " , when the user execute the script, the examples folder under driver c: will be added to the Excel's trusted location.

    I am waiting your kind answers

    Thank you very much.

    When the user click the visual basic script file, a file directory will be added to the Excel's safety area list.
    What do you actually mean? Do you want a sub directory created where your excel workbook is? Can you explain further giving an example as I do not understand your example above. Sorry ..someone else may know what you mean however I have no idea.
    Hope this helps.

    Re: VB Script - Adding safety area

    Thanks for your kind reply.

    My issue is about "trusted locations" in excel. As you know, if you add a directory to the trusted locations in excel, all the workbooks in this folder don't promt the user for enable macros. The mactos runs automaticly that the excel files in the trusted location contains.

    For example, "c:/examples " is one of your trusted location. If you put a excel file in this folder, macros in it will be runned automaticlly without any prompt. You can manage your trusted locations from trust center in excel.
    AND;
    I want a visual basic script file, that when the user execute the script, a specific folder path will be added to the tursted locations. For example; "c:/examples " .

    I am sorry for my English. Hope it is clear now.

    Thank you very much.
