    Edit Workbook opened as Read Only by another user

    Hi,

    If I am the owner of a workbook which is opened by another user in readonly mode
    how can I edit the workbook without getting a prompt "Workbook Already open, do you want to open again and etc.

    I use Application.Workbooks.Open (strHeader & strProgram & strType), WriteResPassword:=strPass, IgnoreReadOnlyRecommended:=True
    and when workbook is not already open I can open no worries but if opened in read only mode I get "Workbook already open, do you want to open again and etc.

    Any ideas thanks

    Lionel
