VLOOKUP part of a text string

I have a sheet with data as in attachment.

Using lookup in another excel sheet, i need to get the "49" with reference to "3636363636" of cell part.

This does not work for data as in above sample =VLOOKUP(C2,[Sheet2.xls]Sheet2!$B$2:$F$8000,5,FALSE), hence referencing part of the link is very neccessary in this case..

Not the best idea in the world, posting a spreadsheet with a rapidshare link that contains the phrase "This file is marked as illegal"

You don't use lookup for searching in part of a cell you would use =find() or =search()
