How to lock the scroll bar

Hi all i am new to excel.

I have to display only a to f. More than i have to lock.

i have used the code

ScrollArea="a40:e40"

its works fine. I have saved.When i close the Excel and reload it is not working. the cell is not locked.

How can i lock the cell.

Where have you placed the Code? I would put it in the workbool open event, but it needs to reference the sheet

I have used Work book open method. But it is not working.

You can set it in the worksheet properties as well.
When you are in the VBA Editor, Select the Sheet in the VBA project. in the sheets properties window, there is a place to set the scroll area.
