Make a countdown sequence with random intervals

Hi.... I basically want to make a countdown "timer" but instead of having the count down be actual time, I would like the time between the numbers to be random.

What I am trying to create is a timed test, but the time is a little be off to increase the pressure. So let's say the timer starts at "30", maybe it takes a full second to go to 29 and then 28, but then holds on 27 for two seconds, then back to normal but maybe quickly goes from 25 to 24 etc......

Try this. Put the code in a standard module and run Start_Countdown.

One last question, when the timer hits zero, can I have it jump to the next sheet?

I'm not sure what you mean. Could you expand? For starters, try the macro recorder with you clicking on another sheet to get an idea of the Excel objects involved.

Chippy, I did exactly that. Recorded the macro and through trial and error discovered where in your original code that I could place it so when the countdown reached 0, a new page was selected.
