Can not add/see ListView (MSCOMCTL.OCX ...?)

hello guys,

I can not add the ListView into a UserForm, I can not see it if a file has one. I searched and found a lot of sites having many answers...it seems to be something with the MSCOMCTL.OCX file.
When I want to open a file (it has a ListView in UserForm) I receive this error

I use win7, 64.
Please be so kind and tell me what shoud I do (step by step) in order to be able to add that ListView or to see/use it.

There seem to be problems with the native ListView control for both Windows 7 32 bit and 64 bit systems. Something to do with a DLL conflict in the OCX. So the question is do you really need the ListView? If you do then I would probably look for a third party control, otherwise you may be able to work around it another way.

Thank you very much for your response. I am not really sure if I need the ListView, I use the ListBox/s in my files just I was worried I could not see/add the ListView when I tried to make some tests! When I hear about .ocx, dll or something similar all I know is what windows uses...!
