Pretty new to this forum and to excel programming, so forgive me if I'm doing wrong here.
Well, created a macro for recording the date for changes in cells, now the UNDO function won't work whenever I change something in those cells.
The code used to record is:
Is there anyway to go around the macro not allowing the undo function to work.

I believe not; any changes done by macro cannot as such be undone.

You can undo the actions if you have a macro which will reverse the steps performed by the earlier macro. Other than that, you cannot do anything.

Would that also be possible if you are overwriting cell contents? Apart from having your macro temporarily save contents of a cell before overwriting?Originally Posted by arlu1201
Yes, you are right. Incase the user knows what the cell contents were before over-writing, then we can have another macro to put back those contents.
