    Planting Schedule - weekly planner

    Hello,

My objective is to build a user-friendly spreadsheet that allows the user to view each weeks' tasks. I have attached a sample for your review.

Basically, the problem now is, when the spin button is clicked, I am able to view the next week's date, but not the duties for the next week...they are the same from the previous week. (I hope this makes sense)

Please see attached, and keep in mind the duties for the following week change: Transplant: Celery, Start: Beets.

Is there a code or step that I am missing to bring all of this information together?

If someone could please help me with this ASAP, I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm so glad to have run across this forum...where have you been all of my life?!

I look forward to a response and becoming an active member of the community.

    Thanks,
    LeShante

Re: Planting Schedule - weekly planner

    I found this link: http://www.excelforum.com/excel-prog...nt-sheets.html

Is it better to use the macro provided there and implement it into the attached spreadsheet? I would like to make it user-friendly and printable.

Thanks so much for your help!

Re: Planting Schedule - weekly planner

In the first post's attachment, I would like to be able to click the spin button going to 'Week 10' and have the information be blank for more data input. Each week there will be different tasks to complete. Right now the date and the spin button are corresponding, but I need those two as well as the data input below the week to change.

    I hope this helps.

Re: Planting Schedule - weekly planner

    Hi All,

Sorry for the confusion. I wanted to come back and try to clear this up.

The orginial spreadsheet looks something like this: Sample1.xlsx

I would like to be able to have the following results:
    • 52 week planner; separate pages/sheets for each week to be able to focus on one week at a time and print
Printer friendly format that can maybe be placed into a binder
      Easy to update en-masse

My idea was this: Planting Schedule _ 01 - LH Copy2.xlsm

The problem is that I'm unable to use the spin button the way I'd like to. When I click the spin button going into Week 10, I'd like to be able to see the week, the date, and tasks for that current week change all at the same time. I'm currently only able to click the spin button and have the date and week change, while the tasks remain the same.

Please let me know if this is making any sense. I'm new here and don't quite know the language yet.

Thanks for any help anyone could give.

    Appreciate it.
