So here is what I am trying to do. I want to look in a diffrent file for a folder that matches a cell in my document. I got it working in the same file. Now I need it to work in a diffrent file. Here is the fomula that I am currently using.

    Thanks for your help

I have been using that for folders in the same workbook. Now I want to use it for folders in a diffrent workbook. How would I write the Indirect fuction for that?

    Hi frankday,

I have been using that for folders in the same workbook.
You have been using that for folders of sheets with in the same workbook?

If you wish to use different sheets of the same workbook in your formula, you can use Indirect function.. I would be happy to guide if you could upload a sample workbook. Alternatively, there are other lookup functions as well which can be used here. thanks.
