Hi All,
Looking at a merge/match VBA macro (200,000+ matches). Which would take two colums, match them and where there is no match include a blank...like the enclosed spreadsheet.
Thanks

Should the output be given in 2 separate columns or should the changes be directly made to columns A & B?

Hi Arlette,
Either or really...don't really need the original data once its been matched...so whichever is easier.
cheers

I have built the following (from an older script which did something similar)...but excel keeps hanging??
My data is in Col A (200988 Entries) and Col B (205849 Entries), with a merged/de-duped list in Col L (221436 Entries).
But excel keeps hanging? any ideas?

I worked out some logic for you, but one cell has to be checked with the entire column on the right side and this can be very messy.
Is there any reason why you want this matching to be done? Maybe we can think of another way to do it for you which might not make it memory intensive for the system.
Try
Alter "f1" for output to suite.
