Rename Multiple worksheet based on what is contained in one cell in that sheet.

Hi,

I want to rename each worksheet, there could be a varying amounts of worksheets per workbook (from between 3-26), based on what is in cell G2 of that worksheet.

I know this is an old thread, but this is exactly what I'm trying to do except my info is is cell A2.
I changed G2 to A2 but I keep getting:

runtime error '1004'
Appication-defined or object-defined error

When I hit debug the following line is highlighted:
.Item(x).Name = .Item(x).Range("A2").Value2

What am I doing wrong?

I have many tabs in the worksheet and A2 of each tab is a different value for each tab.

Any help is appreciated
