    Picking Ideal Blank size

Hello, I am sure this is simple to do but I am struggling. I wish to calculate some prices and as part of this I wish to pick a material size, code and price from a large table. Table looks like below on seperate sheet.
    OD ID Length Code Price
    50 40 50 1234 10.00
    60 50 50 1235 12.00 etc etc.

On seperate sheet I enter OD, ID and Length and wish to pick ideal blank and return code and price.

    Please help !!!!

Here is more data to try and make it clearer. If a part has an OD of 36 and ID of 22 and length 44 I would manually pick number 10081606

    Hope this is clearer.

    Re: Picking Ideal Blank size

    Hi,

    what's the "ideal" blank if OD=51, ID=51 and Length=1500?

You will need to provide a bit more data, preferably in an Excel file.

Outline a few scenarios and explain the logic that leads to the desired result. Provide a bit more than two rows of lookup table. What are the options? What are the possible combinations? Is there data validation in place to restrict the choices for OD, ID and Length? What are the rules to find the "ideal" blank?
