Using a formula to declare a variable's value

Hi all

I am trying to find a way to assign a value to a variable based on the current weeknum. The macro is creating reports on production from the previous week and my attempt was:

but doesn't seem to be working, am I doing it wrong or do I need to use a helper cell to get the variable value?
