extract information from webpage html tags to excel

I am trying to extract information within tags <makeid></makeid> and <date></date> from a webpage. I would then like to use the makeid info to either select that worksheet or if there is not one then to create a new worksheet with the makeid as the name. The date data I would just paste in cell A1. Does anyone know how I can do this? Thank you in advance.

Can you upload example with real values and where they'll be (make sure to remove private data but leave what's important for example).
