Changing value of a combobox on a protected worksheet

Worksheet is protected and has some locked items, but it has a combo box that I can change (combobox4).

I want to be able to transfer data from one workbook to that one, and set the combobox value but I don't know how.

This is all I've tried, and I get a runtime error 'subscript out of range'. I'm not really sure what else to try.

This works fine for filling in cell values, but it has to be able to change the combobox.

    Possibly

Though I have not tested it as I do not have workbooks with those names.

Second book was >1mb so I couldn't attach.

Still not working. Get 'subscript out of range' with your code, and 'object required' if I mix the two.

I can unprotect it if need be, but it'll usually be protected- so I need a solution for that.

You can zip the file and then attach as a .zip file

also you need to provide unlocked, unprotected workbooks. Personally I wouldn't open a locked workbook as a security precaution. The person helping you can then lock it with an empty password (e.g. "") and test.
