Difficult Logic- recognise and count groups

    Hi,
In order to regulate and monitor rest hours I need to be able to look at any hour of the day and within the preceeding 24 hours identify a primary group that is 6 hours or longer (marked with a code letter) and then a secondary group that along with the primary group makes up 10 hours or more.

This should indicate as a value on a secondary sheet laid out as per the main sheet so that Conditional formatting on the first sheet can indicate a colour based on the value.

Any ideas or help is appreciated.

    Martin

Your question is not very clear. Maybe you can try explaining with the help of a sample file.
