Stocktaking in excel automatic quantity

Gday guys,
im setting up a stocktake for my dads company, I have a product list of about 900 items, with a column of barcode numbers, and a column for count quantity. I Have purchased a barcode scanner and was wondering if there was some way I could scan an item, and have it automatically "+1" into the corresponding count quantity cell.

For example cell A2 would be "9726329827" , and once I scan that product its finds the item in cell A2 and then adds +1 to the quantity in cell A2

Hey man, probably not without writing your own barcode scanning app There may already be software out there that will record into excel from a scanner. It's worth a google.
