Changing a cell's color based on it's color and the value of another cell

    Hi Everyone,

I am trying to change the color of a cell based on it's color and the value of another cell. Conditional formatting allows me to only change the color of a cell based on the value of another cell but what I need is excel to recognize and change only the cells with a specific color that other users input.

Basically, users will be filling in certain cells with the color red. Then at the end of the row a value of "yes" or "no" will be inputted. If yes is inputted, only the red cells will change to black, if no is inputted, the red cells will turn to blue. Is this possible to achieve?

Thanks in advance! (By the way, I have excel 2007 if that makes any difference)

Also, this is on a row by row basis. Each row will have an option for a "yes" or "no" value at the end, changing only the colored cells
