If I run this code on a new workbook it works perfect, get the error running on my workbook. Not sure

Try removing the parantheses from the Msgbox

Sorry about other post, hit the send button before I was done. Removing the parantheses did not work. I need to remove this post, other one has more info of problem.

It could be your system sees the Target in the InStr statement as an object and not a value. Try this change and see if anything changes.

The problem is still solved, just have another question. Is it possible to add the backslash symbol to the code too. I played around a little with no luck.
