DELETE the Personal.XLSB macro I created - can't get rid of it!

    Hi,
I created a macro (Personal.xlsb) in Excel in order to use the calendar function within the cells. Now that I don't need it anymore I cannot seem to get rid of it. Everytime I open 2007 Excel it opens the Personal macro.

How do I totally get rid of it???

Hi Cut2, You need to unhide your PERSONAL.XLSB file to edit or delete macros saved to it.

To do this open a blank work sheet and then go View>Unhide and select PERSONAL.XLSB from the list
Then you can go delete or edit your macros.

Not sure if you need to but once done I went and re-hid the PERSONAL.XLSB file just to be safe
