First Post - Outlook E-Mail reminders generated from Excel

    Hi All,

This is my first post on the forum, so firstly hello to everyone. I have come across some really helpful info so far, and am hopeful that someone on here will be able to give me a quick fix.

I Have a very basic spreadsheet with columns of dates relating to certifications. I have put all the basic conditional formatting on to flag up different colours when certain milestones are reached. But I would really like for the sheet to send out E-Mail notifications as well to a few different employees.

I have managed to have some success with a basic code taken from another forum, but my knowledge of VBA is no where near good enough to solve this one.

I have attached the sheet, if anyone would be so kind as to take a look for me. There is no code currently in the sheet. So to sumerise, I need:-

1 email to be sent when there are 30 days until cert expiration, 1 email to be sent when there are 14 days and one when there are 7.

I really need the email to say which engineer and which cert is coming close to running out too in the E-Mail. Sounds quite tricky if you ask me:/

    Many Thanks in advance

Where are the emails updated in the sheet and where is the cert expiration. I mean where is the data to validate expiration. Can help you but if you can be a little more elaborate

    Hi,

    Thanks for the quick reply.

When I was playing around before the E-Mail address that the notification was being sent to was built into the code, not actually written in the sheet.

The expiration dates are all the dates in the sheet, 98% of the dates are in the future. As you can see I have put the conditional format in to flag up when the current date is getting close, but I want the email to be sent also.

If you require any more info please let me know

    Many Thanks

I am looking for a similar capability - did you find a solution?
