Can a formula be used to automatically adjust data used on an Axis?

I have a number of charts that I work with that access data sheets with future dated data (eg the data set is through until 2015), and each month I have to go in and manually change the source data for the charts to include the latest month, as we only show up until the current month.

Does anyone know if I can set a formula whereby if todays date is Greater than the first of a month, it will automatically include that data?

As an example .... on June 20 the chart will only show data up until June, however on July 4 it will also have July data shown.

All data is in the sheets with 1 column per month.

    Thanks for considering

    Darren.

    Hi Darren,

This sounds likd a job for Dynamic Named Ranges. After you define one, then you use that name in your chart for where the data comes from.

Or an easier example at http://chandoo.org/wp/2009/10/15/dyn...t-data-series/

DNRs are not for the noobs. See:

For some basics before you get to the charting problem.
One test is worth a thousand opinions.
