Appropriate formula for retrieving time spent on a project where 2 variables apply

    Hi Guys

I hope somebody can help me out as I am tearing my hair out at the minute

The below is a very simple worksheet I am currently devising as a calendar / job sheet for a member of our staff. He receives several jobs a day/week and each carries forward on the calendar until complete. This much I have managed to complete using various formulas and am trying not to make the sheet anymore complicated than it needs to be however it is impreative that I have a second summary sheet that shows time spent on individual clients work, how many jobs outstanding at any one time and so on and so forth.................

The issue I have is using named ranges for both time spent "TIME SPENT" and medilink/ client / MIAA "WHO" I need to devise a formula that will calculate the time spent carrying out work for Medilink / Client MIAA

Medilink / Client / MIAA is a drop down box using data validation

I have looked at all options I can think of and spend my life getting either #NAME or #VALUE errors whichever way I turn! I know from looking at things as there are potentially 50+ groups of Job Number to - Job Completed rows it may look pretty but isn't the most functional unfortunately

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as looking through the 1000's of forums on here I simply cannot see a fix

    Thanks
    Martin

Looks as though everybody is looking but no answers

Is it because I am asking too much or is it an impossible task or do you need further information?

If you can advise I will of course add whatever blank information I have
