    Clearing a Range of Rows error

    i get application defined or object defined error. where is the source of this error and will my syntax clear the appropriate rows from 1 to StartDelete1 and from EndDeleteBeginning1 to EndDeleteEnd1?

    StartDelete1 is a variable of value 31
    EndDeleteBeginning1 is a variable of value 477
    EndDeleteEnd1 is a variable of value 505
