Timing how long a number in a cell remains above a certain value?

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if any of you would be able to assist with an issue that I'm having.

I am looking to create a function which will effectively time how long a (continuously updated) number remains above a certain value in a cell, and then, if it does remain above the threshold point for more than 5 minutes, then (using a vlookup function), a table will be populated with the corresponding names.

I hope that this makes sense. I was wondering if there was a macro or VBA function which allowed me to calculate how long numbers remain above a certain threshold value? It will be for several feeds of numbers, if that makes a difference...
