Help with a Macro to copy from a text document into excel document

    Greetings,

I have a project were I am trying to copy and paste from a text document to an excel document. I have used visual studio to create a streamwriter to read from a text document and then put the text in a listbox for a class but have never interacted using the same thing with excel before. I have a bunch of data sheet reports in to make and I want to just dimension info in specific places of a text documument and then copy it over the places in the excel report. I have like 70 to do, and the text documents and the excel reports are all in the exact same format.

The problem i have is creating the code for the text document and excel spreadsheet to interact. I was thinking of creating a bunch of variables in the vba then giving the location for the variables in the text document, then putting the text in the cell in the document i need using the range text function. I just cant figure out how to get it to work.

Here is an example of the Text Document. I need to copy the Bold Underlined area in say cell B5.

    EPHEMERIS: igr16974.eph [rapid] STOP: 2012/07/19 10:45:00

    Thanks

before my new job in this office I ran chainsaws and I cant seem to find the pull chord or spark plug on this computer...
